At Home, in School and at Church
If you ask a child or young person, “What does it look like to pray?” You might get the responses: the Lord’s prayer, a person sitting feet crossed, hands together, eyes closed, in silence or grace at dinner time.
But prayer is so much more than this! It’s a constant conversation that involves listening and responding too.
Why Creative Prayer?
We are creative beings made in the image of the original creative! God the Father, who designed our entire world and everything in it. So, it’s no surprise that creative prayer helps us connect with God.

Creative prayer spaces, whether at church, home, clubs or schools, are spaces that create wide open doors for all to come and have a peek!
They help children and young people through their learning and experience, to connect with God for the first time and allow them to go deeper than ever before.
Creative Prayer Resource Library
The Creative Prayer Resource Library contains hundreds of resources to help young people engage in prayer. To find activities that match your needs, choose whether you are looking for activities to do at home, outdoors or in school.
Once you have selected where you’ll be using the activity, you can filter by:
- Age group
- Focus of attention
- Theme
- Type of response
You can then view, download and print the activities you’d like to use.
